I am from Galicia, North-west of Spain, and I am 31 years old. 
I decided to create my own YouTube channel and learning materials while traveling, with the aim of sharing my knowledge with more students after teaching Spanish for more than two years.
I studied Tourism because, since I was a child, I’ve been in love with learning languages.
I wanted to continue down that path and also pursue something related to economics, which I was passionate about at the time.
I worked in the tourism sector and later in fashion, thanks to the languages I had learned.
But after more than four years working for a company, I quit and left Spain to travel and dedicate my life to what I truly love: teaching Spanish and exploring different cultures.
Now, in 2025, after much deliberation, I’ve decided to officially launch my project,
Alba Fletcher Talks. 
Why did I create Alba Fletcher Talks? 🎓
I created all this material for my students.
👩🏫 I have worked with students from level 0 to C1, and all my clases were adapted to their level.
📚 The material I create is based on how I learned languages on my own and based on all my students doubts. I used to hate the way English was taught in school, using charts to memorize and exercises to complete verbs, but never practicing by making sentences, talking, or listening to real-life material that could actually help us improve when speaking with others.
🎯 When I learn languages, I try to expose myself as much as possible to how people talk in real life. That’s how we should learn—because simply knowing the past tense of a verb won’t make you fluent, but creating sentences, listening conversations, and practicing will.
🗣️ With all my material I try to include topics that are practical and relevant, so you can use them in real conversations with anyone. And most importantly, I make it fun! You will be much more interested in learning a language if you enjoy and have fun with the material.
