Learn Spanish with Football – Beginner level

In this lesson series, you will learn how to:

• Talk about your daily routine and a footballer’s daily routine
• Ask questions about football and other everyday topics
• Compare different teams and players
• Express how you feel about a player or a team
• Talk about footballers’ families and your own family

All of this in a fun way, using real examples from Premier League and La Liga teams and players.

You’ll gain the confidence to talk about your favorite team and about yourself using real, everyday Spanish.

What’s included?

✅ Five audios where I read all the texts about teams and footballers, so you can practice your listening comprehension. I also share my own opinions, which you can use as examples to help you express yourself.

✅ A eight-page PDF where we practice reading, vocabulary, and grammar. The topics include a description of Lamine Yamal’s family, a Liverpool player explaining his daily routine, a fan talking about the matches he likes and dislikes, a comparison of the Spanish national team in 2012 and 2024, exercises to guess different players, and more!

These lessons don’t include grammar explanations; you can find those for free on my website. Here, we focus on listening, writing, and speaking activities, all based on current football, so you can express your thoughts and feelings in a natural way.

Who am I?

My name is Alba, I’m from Spain, and I’ve loved watching and talking about football since I was a kid. I’ve been teaching Spanish for over three years, and I really enjoy it when I can talk about football with my students.
